Program: Three Questions That Built a Business

Joni Cole, co-founder of Gray's on Main, will bring attendees on a journey to see leadership in a new light. This talk will give attendees a "decision-making framework" that can be implemented immediately and the tools to build a strong, value-based team.

About the Speaker: 

Joni Cole along with her husband, Michael Cole are the founder, former owner and operator of Gray’s On Main. Founder, owner and operator of O' Be Joyful. Gray’s On Main is an upscale, trendy, eclectic restaurant which features locally sourced southern food. In 2013 Joni and Michael renovated a historic building circa 1876, creating a 3 story restaurant which also houses an award winning bar and music hall. Next door is O’ Be Joyful, your “home town” bourbon bar serving upscale bar fare. Both reside proudly on Franklin’s historic Main Street.

Joni has a true passion for entrepreneurship and "loving on people." Her 2 restaurants are merely the platform to show hospitality to her guest and speak into the lives of her 55 employees.

Utilizing all of Joni’s God given gifts, creating, organizing, leading and teaching, Joni and Michael have developed programs, policies and procedures, that have created a culture for their employees, one of love, trust, safety, and vision for the future.

Joni is an avid reader of success stories and other entrepreneurs. Incorporating much of what she has learned in her own business.

An ambassador for downtown Franklin Joni served 6 years on the DFA board. During that time she was instrumental in collaborating with Mars Pet Care, to develop Better Cities for Pets. As well as spear headed the program “Franklin Locals” where you will see trained volunteers on the streets of DT Franklin daily offering “concierge on the streets” to tourist and locals. Participating and graduating Leadership Franklin year 2018 was a highlight in her career.

Her true love is Jesus and out of daily spending time with Him, her footsteps are ordered and she and Michael are blessed beyond measure.
